MicroWise Solutions designed and developed the Smart Touch Controller board, the DSP-based Variable Frequency Motor Drive, the 24V 30A Battery Charger, and several other products. We also provide on-going engineering and support services for Hy-Security Inc's day-to-day electronics needs.

Hydraulic Gate Operators

Mature, intelligent hydraulic gate operators are the current work horse.
Smart Touch Controller board (see below) controls all operations of the gate.

SlideWinder Gate Operators

Next generation gate operators are powered by a 1 HP 3-phase induction motor. Custom designed Variable Frequency Drive employs state-of-the-art, Digital Signal Processor to achieve superior motion performance.

DSP Based Drive Board

The Digital Signal Processor (DSP) based Motor Drive board provides 
0 ~ 180 HZ variable speed control for up to 1.5 HP induction motor. 
Field Oriented Vector control algorithms achieve superior performance and full torque at the entire speed range. 
Built-in FLASH memory allows in-system field upgrades and future expansion.

Smart Touch Controller

A 16-bit, 33 MIPS microprocessor provides sophisticated control functions to monitor, control, and report all gate functions and status. Built-in I2C, RS232, RS485, and Wiegand card reader interface allow the STC to be used as the universal controller across all gate type. Built-in FLASH memory provides an unlimited upgrade path and versatility.

Intuitive component layout, clear labeling of all inputs, and placing an enunciator on every input -- all contribute to making field installation easy and mistake-free.

Don't let the simplicity and elegance of the top side fool you. The Smart Touch Controller has a totally different look on the protected backside. All surface mount, industrial grade components and full strength lighting protection circuitry all hint at the robustness and clean design of this board.

Non-Contact Home Sensor

This inductive Home Sensor eliminates all problems associated with a traditional, mechanical limit switch. It's advantages include: auto-calibration, never freezes up, will not wear out, and immune to dust, water, and snow.

24V 30A Battery Charger

This intelligent charger charges either 12V or 24V Gel Cell batteries with up to 120AH capacity. A dedicated processor controls all charging and monitoring functions. Software selectable algorithms ensure optimal charge mode is always used for each application -- from stand-by to cyclic, and from vendor to vendor. Other functions include battery characterization and re-conditioning.
